1. Wash hair properly
Switch to a moisturizing or sulphate free shampoo to keep your traces stay soft all day long. Do not wash hair everyday because it will strip natural oils off your hair. Rinse with cool water to seal in cuticles and lock in moisture.

2. Keep your scalp oil-free
Hair and scalp tends to become extremely oily during summers. Using ACV rinse or lemon rinse for hair is really good because it will help in keeping the oil in check. Apply freshly extracted Aloe Vera gel on scalp as it helps soak excess oil and soothes the scalp too!

3. Massage your scalp
It is better for you to massage scalp in your daily hair care routine, we advise you to do it before going to sleep. Perform a scalp massage with clean hair. Move your fingertips inside your hair and apply a gentle pressure on the scalp. This will not only release tension from your brain but also remove dead cells, prevent hair loss and promote blood circulation to the roots of hair.

4. Use some oil
Give your hair some special treatment – Apply deep conditioning treatments like olive, avocado or coconut oil. Use leave-on conditioner because it penetrates deep into hair cuticles and renew the cells more effectively.

5. Cover your head
The UV rays can be harsh on your mane and damage your scalps too, causing perspiration and irritation. You can either use a hat or a scarf or anything cute to cover up the hair. However, do not cover them for longer hours; your scalp needs to breathe as well.

6. Sunscreen for your hair
You can use green tea rinse while you take a quick shower before going outdoors. This acts as a natural sunscreen. Opt for a nourishing henna conditioning pack once every week. Henna pack not only absorbs excess oil from scalp but it also acts as a sunscreen agent. If hair feels dry after using henna pack, rub a few drops of sesame oil on a wide-toothed comb and comb your hair with it. You can also add sunflower in your very own homemade hair care recipe because sunflower is a natural UV protection factor. You may also pick hair products with SPF readily available in the market.
